Today i got infected with a kind of virus, Today i visited a site called DON'T CLICK THIS LINK IF U DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING www.Runetown(Dot)net DON'T CLICK THIS LINK IF U DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING (I inserd the (Dot) Because i dont want people to click it by excedent.

 

I have terribly no idea what sort of virus this site gave me. The one thing i am visitting my this site, and the other time my Laptop reboots without warning, after that i tried to get my bots back to work ( To bad for me my Firewall was offline, no idea how it happend but it happend ).

 

After i logged my accounts back in my Laptops reboots again. I was like? Wtf is this Bullsh*t.

Ohwell i wasnt suspicious about any or something so i let my laptop reboot and i wanna try to get in my accounts again.
1 Account lost all cash (700k) And a fury. (Not so bad thought but okay)

Other account lost around 25m And 8mil in stuuf. (Bad thought).

 

What i did is trying to chance my password by my phone (Internet browser).

And i fully recovered my laptop because i could't get on the internet after the last reboot. Now after a while waiting i finnally gotumy lon for yuo to working again.

So i have a question for you smart Internet Geeks .

 

Will my Laptop be clean after i have fully recovered my pc back to win 8.

 

 

Second thing what happend; i have sended jagex a mail by phone aswell. Telling that my accounts where hacked etc. ( account was already logged in when i tried to get in and i had JAG? Wtf)

 

My account is now blocked and i have to recover it. As soon as i press  on the link (

To recover your password, please visit the ''Game page'' and click on 'Forgot password?'

The game RS3 Opens? I cant get my account out of the ''locked'' zone.

 

 

I hope some one can help me. Sorry for the bad spelling if their is any. I am not from any UK or Usa state.

Wow you are lucky you only lost 700K and you got rid of the virus quickly.

Now for your problem : just send them another mail to recover it instead of doing it through the site.

If you fully re-install the Operating System, or use System Restore to restore your computer a couple days before you went to the site, your computer will be safe.

You shouldnt have a virus unless you downloaded something?
 
make sure you have http://www.malwarebytes.org/ it blocks malicious IPs (incl websites). 
 
And email jagex to get your account back. accounthelp@jagex.com

Also start up in "safe mode with networking" if you can, start up your computer and hit either F2 or F12 and it will take you to where you can pick from there (boot menu)

Search google with your virus symptoms (just like identifying a sickness) and see what type of virus you actually have gotten, and maybe what famous hacker it came from. Usually, with huge viruses there will be hundreds of posts about how to fix it. I had a terrible virus on my old computer also, and that's how I solved my problem!

For the second part, do what Cortana said.

ps: try and go in safe mode with internet, and download malwarebytes and microsoft security essentials. That's what I use and I haven't had a virus since 2011!

Well, i haven't checked my other account YET.

Since its blocked.

But when i tryed to log in to my other account it said Already logged in try in 60 sec or w/e.

 

So.. i am kinda worried that thats a goner aswell..

Or.. i hope they where to slow...

 

 

For the other part i haven't downloaded any?

I just went to the site above, and clicked forums. Just to check if their was a community going on in this ''priv server''.

It was connecting (java just like other RSPS) and i hitted ''Just this time'' Or w/e.

Then i was like.. nvm and clicked the link away. And I got what i got now.

I have resetted my PC completly, so can i be sure i have no viruses? Thanks for the link btw i am going to put it on my Laptop.
