2 factor auth for permission to trade

Featured Replies

Every once in a while someone gets hacked on OSBot (and skype) and someone scams while on their account. Why not make a rule which states you're not allowed to post in marketplace unless you have 2 factor on?

Love this idea, as I have had this exact thing happened to me!

Not sure if it's possible to setup on ipb4.

If someone gets hacked they gotta still pay the bills that the "scammer" took. Pretty sure if that doesn't encourage someone to use 2FA then I don't know what does.

Yep I had to refund, I mean I wanted too, cause it was my fault my Osbot got hacked, but man my security has improved out of sight.

Agreed, but that info isn't impossible to get either (Doxing, phishing).

You arent going to be able to dox or phish someones 2FA code lmao, they only last like 30 seconds before expiring

Using 2FA program on your computer is stupid af. Just use one on your phone instead.

Exactly. 2FA used correctly adds immensely more security.
