Hello, new to the botting thing and OSRS in general. I played many years ago. I guess my question is that I'm solely botting NMZ using Fruity's script. I've read through the guides in this section and they were informative, but scared me a bit. I'm not going to run multiple accounts, I only want to boost the combat skills on my main account by using the script mentioned above. So far I've gone three nights of 4-5 hours of botting and I've been fine. But, since this is my main and only account, I'm really doing my best to protect it the best I can.

I realize this script is a bit different than what most people do. Is NMZ botting generally safer than other things such as money-making scripts? NMZ is a very isolated activity, the chance of getting baited or reported are very low it would seem. I guess I'm just looking for some answers on here about their experience with this bot or just generally speaking, helpful tips.

Thank you and happy botting.

There is and always will be a chance of you getting banned. A rule of thumb for botting is don't bot an account that you are afraid to lose.

While you're right that NMZ is a relatively low ban rate still be careful.

Thank you, I did read through that and it was very helpful. If I were to be detected, would the moderators go right to a perma-ban or would it just be something like a 2-day ban on account that has no flags? I'm sure there's probably many variables that make a definitive answer impossible, but just trying to get a feel for the system haha. It's so hard to not bot for long hours with such a nice script, but I do really need to keep this account safe.

From what I have experienced, I have gotten a 2 day bans on two different accounts. One is my main after getting greedy and botting agility, while the other one was my bot account that I had ample breaks and variety into it. They both got 2 day bans, but at the same time my main is at least 5 years old, and the bot account was like 50 days old. So it could vary from how long you're botting and what skill in particular. There is lots of variables to include, but "usually" they will throw a 2 day ban at you first to warn you. The next ban should a be perma.

Regularly transfer your money and don't overdo it. Use common sense.

Thank you, Dex.

Do you think that bots like NMZ are safe(er) options than the money-makers? It seems like the majority of folks who bot nowadays are running lots of clients and making money on level threes. My goals are just to level up some accounts through NMZ and sand crabs..

I have no idea tbh I never really did any of those things. If you just want to create a good account with decent combat stats it's import to just stop botting at some point and don't overdo it. Not sure if botting to max combat is doable.
