So this myth is true that jagex is probably watching that, are you useing a custom client?

As far as I'm aware, the myth jagex are watching you on a different client is false.

By law, they're not allowed to actually look into your computer or whatever to find out what your using to connect to their game. I remember seeing an article similar to this, I'll have to find it out and edit this post.

there was a huge discussion about this on PB(no advert >.>), where i had like 50 posts on 1 topic. but it is possible to check what name the frame has they're playing on. this probably is not forbidden as pretty much every website does it too.

Yesterday on stream Mod Jacmob said that they can see if you are playing on a bot client even if you didn't bot.

Great then noone is in safe.

Playing in a bot client isn't considered botting but it's Jagex's game and they do whatever they want apparently. :|

I am almost 100% sure Jagex would know if you're playing in a bot client, and it would be considred botting. They wouldn't just let you play in a bot client. The reason I believe they know, is that swiftkit back in the day had major issues with Jagex and the client being 'legal' for players to use. Now there is an 'orion' RS client, which some things had to be removed in order for Jagex to make it legal for players to use. Logically it would make sense that they would be able to tell that you're playing out of it, and if you do play in it without botting I'd say you could recieve a ban.
