June 24, 20178 yr Has anyone tried to do that? share your experience. What software do you use? you build custom pc for mining bitcoin? etc.
June 24, 20178 yr You can't mine bitcoin with your standard PC, you need an ASIC to somewhat mine anything. However you can use something like nicehash.com, which pays out in Bitcoins.
June 24, 20178 yr To late to do it now, you'd get a few cents probably if you did. The ones doing it now do it probably with masses of infected computers or huge datacenters. Either way not possible with your home built shit.
June 24, 20178 yr Heard it was no point doing it as huge companies can outmine you, and that using bots to mine coal in osrs can earn you more
June 24, 20178 yr There's no possibility of consumers doing it anymore. It's simply not affordable, you'd spend more on electricity than you'd gain. There's better things to do with your PC, you'd make more money suiciding regular trees and selling the logs than you would from consumer grade bitcoin mining.
June 24, 20178 yr Not profitable. You probably need invest like 10k+ in a warehouse full of machines in order to be profitable. Perhaps, since we are in EU, you could get cheap electricity if you could figure out a scheme to get some of those grants for alternative energy (since EU is pro alternative energy).
June 24, 20178 yr you can still mine alt coins for profit, but like others said, no profitability in bitcoin mining now.
June 24, 20178 yr I feel sorry if you've turned to this as a possibility when all the tools to spawn money are available to you.
June 24, 20178 yr The only way I see that an individual hobbyist can make money out of bitcoin mining, is spreading a miner through a botnet of infected PC's.
June 24, 20178 yr I have and still mine crypto coins but i don't recommend starting unless you are capable of losing around 3k$
