Do bans come from Client or Script?

Featured Replies

I read something about when the client injects into ruenscape sometimes the code can be different and that's what gets you caught but then again mirror mode doesn't inject and just reflects what they have so I guess mirror mode would be a safer option when it comes to client bans, although I've played accounts legit through the client and never been banned!

I've read the thread. I just had a few difference experiences and was wondering what you guys thought.

Bans come from the botter.

I've broken all rules of the guide not being banned thread and never got banned & have followed it and have got banned.

So I'm just trying to figure out if it's some scripts then are triggering the ban or the client or a mixture of both.

They can come from both

A Friend got banned for using a un-supported/read client

Everyone here gets banned for scripts/and or client

So I'm taking if you get banned from a script, even if you don't use that script anymore you still run chance of client detection once you are flagged

Just curious.

Thanks :D

Both.

1. Jagex can detect modified clients [injection, reflection, mirror, etc.]

2. Poorly written scripts are caught using behavioural analysis

That doesn't make any sense. You contradicted yourself in the same sentence.

"I didn't follow the guide and never got banned, I only got banned when I followed your guide". "I'm trying to figure out how I got banned". You answered your own question, you got banned for following the guide. Go back to whatever you were doing before then?

tbf that was most likely a manual ban because jagex knew he was going to make a video about it
