You can try to get those services which look for blocks and try to speed them up if it ever gets stuck, otherwise enjoy the 6h wait.

what services?

the transaction is stuck on 25 blocks expected confirmationtime  for 20 hours now

Dunno if links to websites outside of this one are allowed but if they arent remove it: https://www.viabtc.com/

It works if you have at least 0.1 mBTC fee per kilobyte. Supposedly they control 7% of the total hashing power so they should be able to speed it up for you if it gets stuck

thanks

site doesnt take any more transactions atm though. so seems like i have to wait anyways

New type of scam. If you pay a low enough fee your transaction will get chucked out of the chain when its backed up. Shoulda waited for 1 confirm.

How does one even fake a bitcoin transaction. I know you dont get the money until its verified, but how would someone even go about "faking" a transaction such that the verification fails and you don't receive the funds. Just wondering if its even possible.
