if youre getting a kitten get it a litter box with a top early on so it adjusts quicker (recommend one with a step up not to high off the ground), and getting fixed real early, and if its a female get it spayed early on or they multiply fast if they get out a couple times. I prefer keeping them indoors over both or you will start finding some dead stuff. All because my girl at the time wanted one aswell.... Good luck, hopefully your experience is smoother than mine. i stick to dogs now.
