03storic Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 Netbeans FTW, I use it for coding both Java and PHP sources.
5uck Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 I personally prefer to use NetBeans. I find the layout very useful, the functions easy to find and use, and its comes with alot of things that you'll need to download as add-ons for other IDE's. Again, as stated before, its all about personal preference. try out some of the suggestions and see which one you like best
Rodgerwilco Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Eclipse is by far the best IDE. Scrubs.
True Scripts Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 I prefer Eclipse. I use to use Net Beans but I prefer Eclipse ui. Its all down to preference.
furysangel Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 i use eclipse and intellj i like both of them so its really which one fits you best
Superman Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 Eclipse is only good for massive projects that you wouldn't be able to keep track of otherwise. If you're still learning Java, definitely do not use Eclipse, because you'll be missing out a lot of important details that Eclipse practically does for you. If you're creating something as simple as scripts for OSBot then Notepad++ is the way to go . Lol Notepad? More like Intellij Idea or Eclipse.
Solution Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 there is no "best" IDE since it's personal preference, but I personally like IntelIJ best
Celeos Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 I started out with Eclipse but now I use IntelliJ. I like it more.
Pseudo Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 IntelliJ is the 'superior' IDE in terms of what it has to offer, which is why I prefer it. It takes time to get used to, but it's well worth converting. And the code completion on iJ is far superior to any other IDE.
Mr Asshole Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 I started coding in eclipse and just recently switched to intellij. I love it. I can't believe a ide like this existed.
