Having 50/50 odds isn't considered the best. Odds staking is the most reliable method of making money through staking (in terms of statistics).

It's about calculated risk. Say you stake somebody, your stats are 91/97/99, there's are 99/99/99. They are more likely to win, but they have to stake X-amount more. It works out (statistically) that eventually you'll have profited despite actually losing more stakes. It's worth looking at before you try it.
