Lucki Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 thinking of buying one have been banned alot on my ip but also heard some scripters say jagex doesn't flag ips
Juggles Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 Proxies in no shape or form lower ban rates. They prevent chain bans 1
Temsei Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 Would make sense for Jagex to flag IPs, but who really knows? Just try it out and see how the bans differentiate, they don't cost much. 1
Lucki Posted January 8, 2017 Author Posted January 8, 2017 Proxies in no shape or form lower ban rates. They prevent chain bans but like i get banned alot on my ip do u think it may help me?
fstyle Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 but like i get banned alot on my ip do u think it may help me? Proxies in no shape or form lower ban rates. They prevent chain bans to lower banrates change scripts/methods and or decrease your botting duration
Lucki Posted January 8, 2017 Author Posted January 8, 2017 to lower banrates change scripts/methods and or decrease your botting duration i understand that but that isn't my issue no one is addressing my concern that i get banned alot on my ip is a switch of ip going to help at all is my question essentially
fstyle Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 i understand that but that isn't my issue no one is addressing my concern that i get banned alot on my ip is a switch of ip going to help at all is my question essentially Well, it wont help you. Unless theres someone else botting on the same IP.
Lucki Posted January 8, 2017 Author Posted January 8, 2017 Well, it wont help you. Unless theres someone else botting on the same IP. what u mean
Sauron Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 IP flagging is not real. Using a proxy won't help you if you're using the same script that you get banned a lot on. You will still be banned at the same rate if you use a proxy. The only reason to ever use a proxy is to prevent chainbans.
fstyle Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 what u mean Look for @Jackshow 's guide to botting. He has explained it well in that guide. I'm currently not home so I can't link you to it as of now
Void Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 If you purchase a VPN; you will most likely get lower ban rates. If you run with Proxies (and your current orginal home IP) is flagged then you will lower ban rates; until your proxy gets flagged.
Lucki Posted January 8, 2017 Author Posted January 8, 2017 Thanks guys If you purchase a VPN; you will most likely get lower ban rates. If you run with Proxies (and your current orginal home IP) is flagged then you will lower ban rates; until your proxy gets flagged. what I was thinking but everyone is saying oppositr
Void Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 Thanks guys what I was thinking but everyone is saying oppositr I'd just say as if your current IP is flagged, you're almost screwed. However; if you run via a VPN with a clear history it'll take them a while to flag it. Likewise for a proxy;
