LeBron
But, that's where you're wrong. If osbot doesn't exist anymore, neither does runescape. The only way the cheating forums will close down, is if the game they're based on shuts down, or loses traffic to the point that they can't make enough money worth running the site. So they won't make a 'free $10k' because the gold will be completely worthless. It was just an example. The guy making 500/mo could just as well decide to quit the game and leave it all behind him and make one last stash before doing so. How is he making one last stash he needs to resell it again so why would he even quit if he could circlejerk that money
LeBron
I don't know what you are expecting from a Blackmarket website. This whole website is already something not done. You expect all it users to be angels? You kind of are making slander of all account sellers here calling them out as scammers indirectly. If you do have problems with buying accounts don't. Let others do what they want to do. Don't like it here then go to these forums: http://services.runescape.com/m=forum/forums.ws?317,318 On there you're not allowed to sell accounts That's just what I said, all users on here aren't exactly angels, just worded differently. I don't expect all users to be angels either, but a lot of other people think they are and end up getting screwed over because they trust too easily. I'm not calling ANYONE out to be a scammer, I'm just stating the facts and bringin' some awareness to people.

Even if you're not in the marketplace. Doesn't matter on what forum, nowhere are angels to be found. Everybody has a price where he or she will scam, even you do. It is just your own responsibility to deny the temptation and be an honest and fair person. This thread only started discussion about how our perspective is on people and not on how we bring more awareness to people.

Yes, but that's real life. That guy would end up in jail, this guy would get a ban on OSBot website. The odds of it happening aren't even close. Shit, some account have probably been sold to 5 different people. Just trying to help people out so they don't sit there and be like "oh this guy got a purple name, he'll never scam me for 300M or he'll lose his OSBot account". Obviously it's a lot more in depth that this, but you can get away with it and not go to jail As for osbot, yeah, usually it stops there. You can sue over online scams. For a runescape account, no. For a gold sale, yes

The person who believes someone wouldn't scam any high number, is deserved to be scammed. It's like removing warning labels from obviously dangerous stuff. That's why the Admins/Mods made the sticky threads regarding the market and its dangers. I would trust any VIP with shit < 15m, any Sponsor <150m (lifetime) if I ever would give more I would check his feedback first.
