Oliver Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 (edited) So I was reading an interesting script thread where the scripter stated the following: Contrary to what may seem intuitive, frequently logging in and out disrupts Jagex's anti-bot data collection, therefore lowering your chances of getting banned. For the safety of your account, the option to disable/change logout times has been permanently removed. (The script logs you out by a random time but quiet often (around 5-10mins) and then after 20seconds-2mins back in. Of course it would be a problem with combat scripts) What are your thoughts on this one? Edited December 12, 2016 by Oliver
scotte93 Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 id say this would make it more likley to get banned not less.
Unversable Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 Sounds retarded as no legit player would ever do this.

lepurc Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 Wouldn't look a bit dodgy? Randomly logging out mid way through doing something.
Juggles Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 On topic: Legit players would never do this. Jagex could easily detect if players constantly log in and out every 5-10 minutes
Sysm Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 sounds like sht to me, but if it works for you sure do it
