October 8, 20169 yr So in uni I have to do visual and historical research on a object. Visual research is extremely important and so I have to come up with multiple pieces of manipulating the mammoth. I think I did alright with this piece, feel free to give me suggestions, i still got time to submit it with my other work: Things to do: - redo the tail. - review whether its over edited or not. Guys just to let you know that nothing is meant to be happening really, just the mammoth standing there. I appreciate all constructive thoughts! version 2: Edited October 9, 20169 yr by Mister Slyther
October 8, 20169 yr I like it a lot but that the same time I don't. I don't know what the fk is going on.
October 8, 20169 yr Author In my honest opinion it doesn't look right, kinda over done. I like it a lot but that the same time I don't. I don't know what the fk is going on. Thats alright I understand, i need more feedback to come up with a decision on what edits I should do.
October 8, 20169 yr Even though you have to do manipulation on the mammoth, I don't think the tail works well.

October 8, 20169 yr Yeah not really sure what is going on either but the level of detail is really quite impressive

October 8, 20169 yr I think it's fine at first glance, but it looks very 2 dimensional when stared at for like 5 secs or so.
October 8, 20169 yr The color correction doesn't really feel fitting. I also feel like the environment the elephant is in needs a touch up and needs to stand out more. A couple things I would remove/change: http://prntscr.com/crdwly - this almost just looks like it was thrown on there for "effect". http://prntscr.com/crdwq7 - these stand out way too much, I would use a different mask. http://prntscr.com/crdxf0 - the multiple eyes or w/e they are could be placed a bit differently and they need more emphasis. the tusks are hard to see as well, try removing the texture from them like the horns/tusks on its back. Also, the tail is odd. I would look probably have kept that a normal elephant tail or maybe a lions tail? Other than that, it's a cool concept and looks like it could turn out really nice.
