A lot less hours per day was a big start. Break settings similar to what khal has on there by default.

Used it for 9 hours using ~40min play time and ~15min break time. 3 day ban :/

Mix up skills and settings once in a while, so you don't use the same "timing" often.
But banns can always happen unfortunately, I also believe only 48h banns and perms banns exist. 
 

Is there a way to reduce the delay between some of the actions? For example it will select the knife and wait 4-5 seconds before clicking a log. Same for cutting roots and feeding the brazier.

It's not a script issue. shouldn't happen at all.
Restart your mirror mode client and it should be fine :) Make sure to be logged out when you hook mirror mode
