Webwalker path behavior issue

Featured Replies

1. OSBot Version (do NOT put "current version", be specific)

Osbot Version: 2.4.88

2. A description of the issue. Include relevant logs.

Proceeds south and ignores the better route(walking north west and crossing the ditch). Continues on a long path which goes completely around the Monastary of edgeville then proceeds to cross over the wilderness ditch.

Same issue when proceeding back.

tl;dr -> takes long route when it should take the fastest and easiest choice.

3. Are you receiving any errors in the client canvas or the logger?

None.

4. How can you replicate the issue?

Issue #1: Pick any point on the north west side of the wilderness and WebWalk to the position.

Location walked to: new Position(2979, 3614, 0)

Issue #2: returning to edgeville bank has the same route behaviour.

5. Has this issue persisted through multiple versions? If so, how far back?

Not too sure on this since I noticed it about a week ago and just getting to report it now.

Edit Note: using SimplePath() fixes this but thought I would bring it up anyways.

SimplePath would fix the issues like you mentioned, however I agree that probably AdvancedPath should also probably take the route along the wilderness ditch. Unfortunately I'd have to dig into some deep web walking code and spend a lot of time trying to understand it. With that said, the only real chance would be if MGI looked at it since he has a better understanding of the behavior.

Thanks for the reply. I suppose we can just lock the thread until it is able to be looked at.
