i used to bot in the old days, but nowadays i heard the detection is better, can anyone tell me something about this.

and if you do get banned on an account that has never been banned before do you get a perm ban or a 2 day ban?

Well most likely would get a 2 day ban but however Jagex is always unpredictable :D

Depends on how you bot. Generally, it's in the middle in my experience. Bot safe and you should be safe.
