Been about 2 years since i've played, keep wanting to come back , just have too much work commitments working 50 hours a week, i looked about 18 months ago and there was threads saying "bot for 2 hours get banned etc" for most scripts,

 

is that still the case, or are we winning the war on bots vs jagex again

but if you bot 4-8 hours a day and 3-5 days a week yes worth it

The times are hard for a botter. Do you have an account that is several months/years old with decent stats? If so you can probably bot for a good while before Jagex catches on. If you are starting a new account and bot from scratch you will be banned within 3 days. If you don't have a legit account already, I would recommend playing legit for a couple of weeks and then start botting. Like iroll mentioned, if you bot wisely and play legit 25-50% of the time, get quest points on a regular basis, and don't bot like an idiot you can bot consistently for months. It's just most people make stupid mistakes and get banned quickly.

If you can afford to get a private script made, I would give it a shot. Normally less of a ban rate on those. 

Yes botting OSRS is still worth it. I'm botting 4 accounts like 18 hours a day and they dont get banned. Find a good method and get a private script and you'll reduce your ban rate a lot.
