My authentication system is something I created from scratch using PHP/MySQL/Java. I used this same auth system previously on other botting clients and it worked well. The price for my scripts is generally $4/lifetime per account, which I feel is fairly priced. It's also a little bit easier to purchase an auth for a friend and sending him/her that auth. Support for clients regarding refunds, account activation problems, etc. is overwhelming easier to manage because I host everything.

Maldesto is correct. Either: 1. The script never had a discount 2. Discounts only apply to primary groups 3. Maybe we cannot include seconday groups I will also not be adding discounts to primary groups of anything other than Sponsor/VIP. I don't think Moderators, Admins, Script Writers, Chatbox Mods, or Script Managers (me) should get discounts. This will be looked into today. Thanks for the heads up.

@Hashplant - I'm going through scripts up to two months ago. They deserve at least the chance to recover from such a tragic setback. Your script(s) will be reviewed and added in due time. Please be patient.

Gladiator, I'm not getting paid either. And this is the last time I'm going to tell you that I'm not a Moderator/Administrator. I work for the scripters, developers, and Maldesto. I do not work for VIPs, Sponsors, GFX artists, Moderators, Verified Transactors, etc., although sometimes I may lend out my helping hand.

@nenkido : 1. You want the SDN update logs? They've been getting update 1-2 times/day since the 16th. 2. That's because the admin before me sat on the upload requests for 2 months and I just got access yesterday.

@Raflesia - I feel bad about whatever happened in regards to Smart and people leaving because of me, however my job needs to get done and I will meet and exceed my job. Thanks for your unbiased review and all the points you brought up were valid.

So your argument is, because you spent an hour pushing scripts, you're active. lol And I believe it was said you would receive an 'Administrators' position. So I should hope you'd do more than just push scripts. An hour pushing scripts? I am going through a 2 month backlog of SDN Upload Requests I update scripts daily I am coordinating the new scripting competitions I am working on a new system (java, php, sql) for uploads I am revamping the SDN approval process I go through the inactive SDN scripts/contact script writers I review scripts for malicious code ... and much more There's a lot of behind the scenes stuff you guys don't really see. I spend at least 4-5 hours every day working on OSBot; you guys just can't see it because it's mainly in various systems/tools.

I'm not a moderator, I'm a Script Manager. I work on the SDN; my job is not to moderate the forums or chat. If you were a scripter, you would understand the value I bring to the scripting community here. Most of my time is spent in Repositories, SQL Tables, Admin Panels, and back-end stuff, not on the forums. If I am on the forums, chances are I am making posts in the Scripter's Forum or SDN Upload Requests. Respectfully, please do not label me as a moderator.

I'm not active because I have 400 post count and my time logged in isn't high because I don't afk my browser at night? I woke up at 6AM today to push scripts and was late for work which started at 7AM, I'm pretty sure I'm active. Smart is a great guy along with many other members of the administration. Staff promotions and community problems is out of my control, I'm just here to work on the SDN and push out updates. Regardless of whoever/wherever you got your disinformation from, I hope you return in the future when this pointless drama dies down. It's unfortunate that many members don't see the positive influence I have over the community.

I'm locking this topic because all it is doing is perpetuating false rumors and accusations. There is no conspiracy, I was appointed to manage the SDN and everything that encompasses it. This includes taking care of the Script Writers and meeting their needs; and ensuring that the community receives updated and new scripts in a timely fashion. My credentials are well suited as I've worked with large databases in the past, and I'm sure there are other well-qualified scripters/programmers here that could do the same job. We are only in need of one script manager right now and until we need more, there is no need to add more. Setting up and teaching new Admins and Script Managers is time consuming process, time which could potentially be used to work on the client or improve the API. The job is being done adequately and proficiently. If you feel otherwise, please contact @Maldesto.

@Ricky - How else do you plan on me adding scripts to the sdn and updating the repository with less rights than a chatbox mod?
-
@5uck would make a good Script Manager. Super Moderator was taken away from me because I wasn't a Super Moderator. My primary purpose is to maintain the SDN and keep things orderly as it relates to scripting and the scripting community. There have been major issues with script update times and adding new scripts to the SDN, and I'm here to resolve many of these issues and then some.

In two weeks OSBot will be having it's first scripting competition and we are in need of some sexy graphics from the GFX community. The following graphics are needed: 128x128 medal/trophy graphic -Colors of your choice -Says something alone the lines of "scripting competition winner", "OSbot script winner", "Scripting medal", etc. Small topic banner -Words to be included, "OSBot, Winter, Scripting/Scripter, Competition, 2013" -Colors would be light/dark blue, whites, anything that would reflect the winter season Credits will be given to the graphics which are used, deadline is 22 November 13. PM the entries to @Alek.

As far as I can throw a grand piano.

@Skrizzly - Why Edgeville and not Taverly? Tav is in a safe zone, fairly close to a bank, and is actually faster if you use fally teleports.
-
I hope you know that the other "main competitor to OSBot" is also having very similar problems. We might all have to switch over to those no-namers.

lets see how long we can get before the client gets updated

The payment system is really informal, one of the downsides to OSBot. However there are positive and negative aspects to every bot/botting community. The admins are typically easy to reach and most publicly display their Skype information. He does have a valid point, you're dealing with people's money. Why should the script writer continue to make new scripts or update existing ones if he/she cant trust that they will even get paid. From the OSBot perspective, they all probably have "real lives" and responsibilities. Payments are very tedious and time consuming. They need to focus on creating a more automated process to relieve themselves of this issue. Imagine this: You just purchased a script off the SDN and expect to receive it within 15 minutes. It doesn't come and you decide to just wait 24 hours. Then you decide to contact an Admin who doesn't respond because he/she has a ton of other tasks to do. A few more days pass by and you think to yourself "Well, looks like I'm not getting the script I purchased."

Godaddy is great. Customer service is excellent Nice Admin features Reliable Fair pricing Well known

I'm pretty sure Maxi is saying it's limited to the number of RS accounts it is linked to at one time. For instance you can only run a premium script in 5 tabs or something. Of course this would be 100% up to the script developer to implement. If you feel that a script which utilizes that method is unfair, you don't have to purchase it. Same thing goes with monthly fees on scripts, some people hate that and would prefer just flat-out buying the script. As far as everything else goes, I'm all for the new method of bringing scripts to the SDN. By no means am I impressed by the method for updating current scripts. It's essentially the same thing as it is now, however over email instead of forums.

Ah, perhaps some competition for my AIO mining script kMiner (which is free). Good luck with this
-
I'll have my custom check be much more informative in the future.

kMiner supports gold at Karamja (Tzhaar). You can even select the mine while waiting option to mine both gold and silver.
