i had a bow on with no arrow, 70 defence, attack options for both npc and player were hidden but still died some how. was pickpocketing ardougne knights in ardougne. so i dont think there is any way my player attacked anyone. it was probably lured like someone else was saying.
It clicks on the stalls sometimes when pickpocketing since the npc is moving and gets caught and attacked by the guards. this is why it sometimes get into combat. it would be useful if you could add the detect if its in combat though.
Can you add an option to check if the player is in combat to run away instead of trying to pickpocket. its been happening alot when it misclicks and steals from the stalls but gets attacked by guards and then it still tries to pickpocket the knight.
Something i notice is that it doesnt recognize at times which npc it is thieving, for example when im thieving paladins and theres a hero next to it spam clicks the spot over and over but its trying the thieve the hero instead. And another case is where a tree is blocking the view of the npc and it just spam clicks over and over instead of rotating the camera to actually thieve the npc so it just spam clicks the tree instead. Hope this makes sense to provide a fix.
