So I wrote the guide as a helper for people to learn to script from scratch, that youtube guide which merccy posted is probably a little complex for you to understand if you're completely new, it relys on basic knowledge of the API. Also he's using intelliJ IDE (depends on if you have this or not). When I wrote my guide I wanted to give you a basic understanding on how the API worked so you could do more than just a tea thiever (so you could branch out to a fletcher too if you wanted). But you can use the states which merccy highlighted in his vid). Also note that merccy was coding this for OSBot 1 NOT OSBot 2. The API HAS CHANGED! so you may struggle to follow exactly what's going on in his guide (for a start, client was deprecated).
But in theory, yes you could follow that guide, I think he explains how a statemachine works pretty well. Perhaps look at both guides to give you more of a feel for what's going on.
