It only hops when the shop is out of stock, that's the only condition has nothing to do with opening packs or whatever

20 tiles won;t be on the minimap, the range of the minimap is 15-16 tiles around the player So yes 14 could be correct to have a small margin

It completely depends on your account, quests, teleports, ironman or not, diary unlocks, POH, ... The setup is always very account bound
