Is there a way to reverse the game client patch?

reinstall runelite I believe -
When you open the client, just click the "Game client patcher" button, and press patch game client. Now you can launch osbot from the jagex launcher by selecting runelite

No that's intentional, it will check the bank to cache items, for example pickaxes, pouches,...
