I suggest taking one (If its an option) Free workouts + you learn how to properly use free weights. If not starting at the gym on machines is good but if you want to build free weights is the way to go. And DONT focus on one thing so much ie: Biceps. If you want results you work out your whole body. Pick a day of the week to work 2-3 muscle groups a day gives your body time to relax and if you can afford it, Protein PROTEIN PROTEIN! One i like in particular is Rebuilt RAW Mass. Its expensive but with the correct workout and diet youll see results. and On top of lifting dont forget to cut. High reps lower weights. Define and sculpt your body. If you can afford a gym, Most allow a 1 free person u can bring with(Find a partner) its always good to go with someone especially if you're nervous and only worry about yourself. how else do you think those meat heads got big? And the whole 8 sets 3 rep is amazing to gain muscle. but you also want to confuse your muscles. youll gain and it will be harder once the muscle memory kicks in, just make sure you add more weight or find a wrok out different from the reps you're doing.
