Exactly. I've taken multiple classes on graphic design and I can guarantee it took no skill to make that. My try at it, I'm going to time it: 2:13 was the time it took to make this: (Same effects, different font) How is it at all professional? It can't be professional. It's written in an ornamental/decorative font.

I don't really notice it. I guess it's just one of those things that sticks out to you because you made it.

I really like the depth in this image. The effects around the image really make it look like he's coming out, especially the light here: If you made this, it looks really good. Keep up the good work.

True. It's really responsive though. I get a lot of inspiration from portfolio websites. If you can make something as good or better than bootstrap, then I think that deserves some level of respect.
