As for progressive mode; it's currently in beta, if it doesn't work for you I'd suggest sticking to normal mode. I'm sorry to say that the script is currently already packed with a lot of traversing methods and I am currently not interested in adding more in there, if the demand is not sufficiently large. Unfortunately, it will never be possible to have a 'one size fits all' script as everybody has different desired methods, thus the script is more like a 'one size fits most. This is probably not the reply you were hoping for, sorry about that.
