Dayum, jagex has no mercy eh..
  3. Good luck. I'm looking to make a similar pure soon.
  4. Thank you. Since you say that, I'll ask right now. Is there any way to automatically follow threads you create or post on? I'm feeling annoyed already at having to click follow on multiple threads.
  5. Hello people. As you see my join date is pretty early but I don't consider myself to have been a member of the community that long. I never really posted around here and was only a member to use the bot. However, I've been posting more lately and see myself as an active poster in the future. I've been a casual botter but I'm inclined to step it up and start a mini gold farm and see where I can go with it. I'm not trying to make big bucks, just enough to have me from working a min wage job as I'm going to uni next year. But anyways, looking forward to being active around here.
  6. That is a possibility as it's possible to play legit while using this client and not being worthy of a ban. I have been botting on an account that I used to play on so that means it has tons of quests done and all around stats (lvl 30 this, level 20 that) and it's been working very well opposed to using accounts freshly made to gold farm. Perhaps that could help a lot, as I bot pretty heavily on this particular account (15 hours at a time). I know people don't have enough time to make such an account for botting, but perhaps what people need to do is reduce the total number of accounts running and increase the quality of them. Making them look like human stats I would predict would go a long way. After all, who would register and go cut trees for 10 hours a day for weeks and weeks? That alone is enough to ban someone in my opinion.
  7. I've never looked it at like that... I think you're right. With legit players leaving, gold farmers leave too. So perhaps I am wrong in the client detecting possibility. Although it still puzzles me how they were able to specify osbot on that guy's ban...
  8. Yes but remember that Jagex is still a business and I think they wouldn't ban all the bots even if they could. Bots increase player count which makes the game seem to have life and also it gives them money. Don't you see how confident they are about bringing in f2p? If they can detect clients, I think they would ban only a fraction of the bots each day to keep the player count from plummeting and also to encourage gold farmers to keep paying for membership which generates money for them. But then, why would they specify "osbot" and let their secret out? Haha, it's mind games LOOOL I just read your post again and noticed "came in like a wrecking ball". Gave me a good laugh.
  9. I remember someone on osbot posting a screenshot of their ban and Jagex specified "osbot" in the description of the ban. Perhaps they really can just detect the client and no matter how human-like or sophisticated the script or these "antiban" methods are, it wouldn't be any help? Just an idea... Do you think that's possible?
  10. If you're doing a test go for it. But i'd advise not to do that many hours if you're trying to last.
  11. i wanna smack that girl in your avatar
  12. yeah I got one this morning. Permenant. Sad day.
  13. If it's gonna be a good method, you won't find it here. Gotta be creative and come up with your own plan.
