I don't understand why you're making such a suggestion when you're not wanting to put into the fund yourself? Personally I think it could be really fun for some people, however in order to properly conduct it I would recommend having only the mods holding prize funds, which would require their willingness to put in the extra effort. -

Some people who don't use crypto (typically BTC) are limited as most websites either don't offer PayPal as a payment method anymore, or they charge you a chunk in fees.
