Ran for ~2 days straight now, with the exception of manually moving to a different spot after 1-99 progression got to 59 and did both the mini game and the quest flawlessly.

Yes i am using mirror, everything else seems to work great other than when the storms show up while you're fishing. It doesn't seem to register them

Need to figure out a way to recognize that a storm cloud is above the fishing spot so it moves instead of just standing in the fire.
