I think you need to put `ironRocks = getObjects().closest(7488); ` in your `onLoop` above your switch. You mentioned that doing that causes it to look for other rocks, but if you use the filter like I mentioned you can fix that. The way you are currently trying to do it is almost surely failing because you aren't recaching the ironRocks variable after mining it. You could test this easily enough by just moving what you currently have in the onstart (where you set iron rocks) to your on loop above the switch. If the script continues mining past 1 ore, then you know thats the issue. At that point you should attempt to implement the filter using the tile/position of the rocks you want to get. It will do you a lot of good in the future to understand how to use filters anyway, so it will be time well spent if you have to spend some time figuring them out.

You could store the position/tile of that rock and use that with a filter to find only that rock.

I'm not 100% sure, but it looks like the problem may be that you need to re-cache the iron rocks each time after you mine it. Try printing something like `ironRocks == null` or maybe `ironRocks.hasAction("Mine")` in your getstate function.

Most likely, you will have to figure out what works best for you on your own. There isn't really general advice that applies to everyone since most people have different goals. Some people are farming gold, so they suicide bot by creating accounts and running them 24/7 until they get banned. Others are more careful. The best advice I could give you is to switch up the skill that you're botting every few hours. Don't bot the same thing for 6+ hours straight.

Why don't you technically have the power to tell them what to do? You say you should, does that mean you're doing work / taking on responsibilities that are above your current job title? If so, why not ask for a promotion? If you're already doing the work, you should be getting recognition.

I'm looking for someone to finish up RFD for me. The account has ~140qp, and all of RFD done except for the final fight. All required quests and skill levels are done, I just need the remaining 35 or so quest points and final fight done. The account has 70+ in all combat stats and high prayer. I would be looking to pay in osrs gp. I'm guessing the script doesn't exist anyway, but I figured I would state it anyway that I need this done by hand.

Make sure you don't have any .form files (for example if you used intellij builder for the GUI it creates a .form file). I'm not 100% sure that the .form file would cause issues here, but it has with other bots for me. Another thing is to make sure you aren't using the API in the constructor of your main.java file. If you are, then move that code to the on start function instead.

I would say 65-70m. Maybe a bit more if someone was specifically looking for this sort of setup.

Thats a good idea. You may also want to train some other skills in the off time if you weren't already planning on it. It will look suspicious after awhile if all the account does is the minigame 100% of the time.

I think it would be lucky to get 20-30m unless someone specifically wanted a 60+ hunter with 99 fletching. I think the main problem is that anyone interested in buying will only want it for one specific skill that it has, so you may be better of selling it as just a 99 fletching account. Would probably get more if it was still lvl 3.

I would personally recommend looking at a few tutorials here on the site and give those a shot. It sounds like you have at least a basic understanding of programming in general, and thats all you really need to get started with some tutorials. You will likely have an easier time if you follow tutorials that use states (regarding on site tutorials). If you find yourself struggling the whole way through, then I would suggest trying to learn more about java / common programming concepts and patterns. One of the best things you could do is to find a mentor that can help you when you get stuck. Its easy for new programmers to get stuck for multiple hours on a fairly simple issue that an experienced programmer could likely solve within minutes. Good luck with everything, I hope it works out for you.

I enjoyed reading through your experience. You're right about gold farming being much more complicated than it seems at first. Its nearly impossible to make any worthwhile amount of money without spending a lot of time maintaining the operation. Have you tried botting a single account just for fun?

Why don't you try removing woodcutting from your rotation and try again. Its hard to say for sure what happened, but my best guess would be that using the f2p wc script is what keeps getting you banned so quickly. I would even say don't rotate if you only have 1 premium script. Just use it and then play legit for a bit each day until you can get another premium.

Were you using free scripts? In general using free scripts will end up with higher ban rates because they're more widely used by other members. If you invested in a premium or private script you would probably not see as many bans as quickly. The way you're botting doesn't sound like the issue, it sounds like you're doing everything right. If you weren't using a free script then its probably the IP. You could get proxies to easily fix the IP issue, but remember to use the proxy from the time you create the account.

The best advice in this situation is assume that it will not work out. I think a lot of the "nothing comes out right" is because you're nervous now. When you were still dating "a" you saw it as impossible to be with her, so there was no pressure. The problem is the pressure is on now because you realize you now have something to lose (because you actually have a chance to be with her). In my opinion the best way is to just assume that it won't work out, but hope for the best. It certainly seems like thats the problem at this point. As for the whole "she dated a guy to get to me", did it not work? Would you still be with "a" if she hadn't? Maybe you should be greatful that she affected change.
