    @Alek

    I removed the part where it uses the hop world method from the API and now I'm no longer getting this error. Does that help at all?

    I'm using osbot's hopping api and it's working perfectly, can you post your code?

  2. There is no new client detection. It's simply jagex implementing something new to lock accounts.

    If there was they would ban them, there's no point to only lock them as that will allow people to unlock them and then bot which defeats the purpose.

    Plus lots of people are botting just fine.

    I’ve only been botting since I joined this site. My sample size is ~9-10 banned accounts (I’m not counting the non quested/rested accounts) and 5 that are alive and going strong following the guidelines I’ve talked about. I don’t stand to benefit anything from this write-up. It is purely a summary of best practices I’ve learned to help new casual botters avoid bans (hopefully). There is literally 0 information on the topic outside of Alek’s post so its a starting point if nothing else.

    Do you use mirror mode or the reg client?

    How do you do that?

    I'm wanting to do this through the script code, not set it through the client.

    Then you can use -allow no randoms with cli and handle logging in/breaking.
