  1. Anyone who knows stacks and machine architecture knows those, and those aren't used only in Java but many other(including lower-level languages). Asking a direct question as 'what the instructions iconst_5 or invokespecial do' does not go to prove someone is not capable of creating a client. First we must clarify that the customer desires something more of a client rather than a bot, grabbing hooks and updating them weekly is a pain and if he wouldn't intend to pay upfront then it's a waste of my own time, disregarding the fact that he'd have to update it himself. Also, you're very right, most people would copy old source and update it, and yes you're right, it wouldn't be as good as someone who knows their stuff in and out. Building client from scratch takes forever, and is worth more than $500 so Swizz has a point, random scripters won't be able to give you what you truly desire, but what you truly desire costs more than $500. All said and done, randomly asking on a botting forum isn't going to work, get some close contacts and work from there. Also, it's kind of a fun project, so I'm going to try it regardless
  2. Leave me a PM with your Skype and I'll add you when needed
  3. I have been offered another job similar to this, do you intend to pay monthly? I won't get paid flat and be expected to update hooks every week for months
  4. Vote for @lolmanden
  5. Define reasonably priced? Compared to what? To your own market or to the actual botting market? If your comparing to the latter than you're completely wrong, they're far from reasonable. Just incase I missed your point and you're defining reasonable by the amount of time the scripter took to write it then all you have to do is code better and faster. Just cause you take forever to write it doesn't mean it ought to be priced more.
  6. Even though I've nothing to do with this community, this post has gone through multiple botting forums so I thought I'd say my small piece. The market plan is actually better this way than their previous market, it's far more consistent, healthy & stable. Having a monthly income adds incentive to continue developing scripts. However the prices placed here are just bizarre, to say the least and not to be a douche but this client offers nothing great that many other clients offer and half if not more are offered for free elsewhere. Your true fault is the fact that you have a person with inexperienced marketing capabilities in large numbers who decides based on personal assumptions, which is definitely not the way to go. You have to do the math, ALOT of the math, prediction only plays the final part. I don't know who your financial adviser is, but whoever it is, fire him. What they have done here is embarrassing. They have added a monthly script, were the base price is lower than the monthly renewal.. Not only that but the base price is the same as it was before(Or more or less the same, I don't remember all the prices). Not only have you delayed OSB2 by months and months but then you expect your community to fall into multiple traps continuously, making them pay for your lazyness. If you want this market plan to work you must first cut down base price by 33% - 45% of it's original base price and then offer a monthly renewal which is 10% less than base price and offer 3 month package(Not more than 3 months as the scheme drops off alot in the long run) with 20% - 30% less than the base price. The numbers vary according to the average time usage of a script. If you have a Gnome Agility course sold for premium, it's average customer usage will be literally, a couple hours. Thus it ought to be sold for 33% less than it's original base price and 20% discounted for long subscription period. If you have an AIO Slayer script, it's average customer usage will vary from weeks to months, thus it ought to be sold for 45% less than it's original base price, then 10% less for monthly from it's new base price and 30% less than it's new base price for extended subscription time.
  7. Haven't you paid attention to what your top scripters have been moaning about? There's been reflection clients for months, the reason it wasn't always used was due to it's memory usage, however now there's client who offer both Reflection and Injection, even though Reflection has been toned down to nearly as much as it's counter, it uses roughly 10%~.
  8. Start off by running a fully reflectional client with detailed custom mouse biometrics. That cuts your bans in half~, second, run scripts which are event-driven not loop-driven, that cuts your bans by another 20%~, third, run a single IP per account, that drops bans by 5%~. However neither are offered here as far as I can recall so yea. Just to make it clear, if you think you're going to bypass their system with ingame 'tactics', you're heavily mistaken. Don't forget you're playing in their back yard, they see everything.
  9. Haha crazy as always Tycoon, take care buddy
  10. I have. Today was one of my free days and decided to check out the programming section and updated my tutorial, hence the posts. I probably won't show up again for another couple of weeks.
  11. Seeing as nobody is bothering to help. If you have any Java oriented questions add me on Skype @ bucial11 and I'll help you out. I can't directly aid you with scripting as I don't know the OSB2 API nor have I worked with it(obviously).

"don't listen to others" is definitely the worst advice you could possibly give. If you don't listen to others opinion(obviously presuming it's sustained by reason) then you are a one-dimensional person who won't surpass further than what they're naturally capable of. The intention behind my previous post was to simply aid the person understand what it is he is doing.

I'm not grilling anyone, I'm just making aware that copying someones work and adding more aesthetic effects to make it 'cooler' doesn't entail actually knowing what you're doing. This way I'm asking him questions that will help him understand what's actually happening presuming he's gone out of the way to do something outside of the scripting/botting scene means he's interested in programming/development in general. What he wrote is 'correct', but I'm asking as to why he wrote what he wrote apart from repeating what the tutorial suggested.

Alright, why then variable; private Background bg; Is declared as private in Level1AState and/or ControlState class presuming it's the same variable in the same package, would it make sense to use protected instead? Also, why is your Multidimensional Array of type BufferredImage statically declared inside your Content class? public static BufferedImage[][] EnergyParticle = load("/Sprites/Player/EnergyParticle.gif", 5, 5); I'm not saying they're wrong, far from it, I just would like to know why it was written that way.

It's a very nice project but do you understand everything written and why it was written in such a manner including inheritance and multidimensional arrays aswell as encapsulating variables properly in your classes? If not then focus on more practical projects that allow you to learn such programming features, best bet would be a solid database from scratch just using Java. Also use tutorials as reference to what you want to do, because PersonX decided to write in a certain manner doesn't mean you have to do so too.
  16. Your high-up too was a scammer once yet has proven himself otherwise nowadays in and out of this community, chances are you have too, I'm not sure if you wrote it as a joke but even if you did, it's old and dried out so yea.
  17. Congratulations buddy, glad you made it. Use this determination in many other situations in life, very few have the determination that you've been able to show.
  18. Thanks, for now I need to keep focused for the next 3-4 months so I really don't have time for OSBot!
  19. Haha all the same! Indeed a botter less :p
  20. Thanks scot, keep in touch
  21. Goodbye Acerd.. Thanks pecher, all the same buddy
  22. What I mean by botted on RS is literally, botting my old main or, actually botting to achieve something ingame. :p
  23. All the same @Smart - I've learned alot from you too and greatly appreciate your contribution around here. You're a person to look up to and the experience you've gained over here will be very useful and visible when you expand in your desired career! All the best man
