I might have exaggerated a little but with the banning live streams with mules with 1b+ in gold its pretty scary

Dropping your items is never a good idea, go with the staking idea or just simply trade it there is a 95% you won't get banned

Soulsplit was fun for a while before 07 back in 2012-2013 but there was a lot of glitches if I remember correctly.

If you would like to be really safe, go to the duel arena and stake it to your mule. Even chat up between the two accounts make it seem legit as possible.
