Single threaded performance isn't the deciding factor when running multiple bots....
If you read his posts above, he wanted over 50 accounts. Since not every bot is going to be running on that same exact thread the single threaded performance doesn't matter because it won't even reach peak performance while the rest of the cores are under load as well. That's why the performance of all cores is more relevant when running a farm, and single threaded performance doesn't matter very much unless it's extremely low.
For proof of this:
An i7 6700k has 2.3k single threaded performance and 11k total average: https://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=Intel+Core+i7-6700K+%40+4.00GHz&id=2565
A dual socket x5675 system has 1.3k single threaded performanec and 12k total average: https://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=Intel+Xeon+X5675+%40+3.07GHz&id=1309&cpuCount=2
The dual socket x5675 will run between 80-120 bots while the i7 will struggle past 50. Even though the x5675 system has half the singleThreaded performance of the i7, the 12 cores and 24 threads easily trump the other system. Those numbers were collected by me since I have both of those.
