Yes and no. You're more or less talking about a macro recording program, which is used by people (including myself) for various, usually simple, tasks. With that being said, it's pretty much limited to just that, simple tasks because it's nothing more than pure recording with no intelligent coding behind it, so it has no way to tell if it's actually doing what it's supposed to. In my experience, though, macro's can be used to bot for quite long periods depending on the task. I recently botted 1-99 fletching on a fresh account using nothing but a macro recorder, still unbanned.

And yet, I'm running scripts with anywhere form 6-50+ lines of code typically for 20+ hours a day with almost no randomization, yet my average bot's life is well over 7 days now. Jagex's pattern detection is HOT GARBAGE if you think they're actually grabbing most bots via profiling.... If that were true on any decent scale, I'd get banned quickly and easily when running a 72 hour F2P woodcutting bot..

Any near impossible skills to bot and get away with?
poptartjake replied to T4TT03D's topic in Botting & Bans
Non-existent, most run for 15-20 hours a day. My "break schedule" consists of either: A.) the bot breaks, idles, and eventually logs out. B.) the bot hits the 6 hour timer and is logged out. I do not use a login handler to help ensure that if a bot has broken, it doesn't continue down an inevitable path to being banned. All my bots are run through SOCKS5 proxies, no more than 2 bots per proxy at the moment, but I plan to buy more and give everyone their own proxies for safety. For the sake of disclosure, everything I've mentioned has been done within the last month or so with my mobile bots. -
Any near impossible skills to bot and get away with?

I've had good luck with Hunter so far (fingers crossed). Fletching I've gotten 1-99 (2 weeks ago), I've done 1-90 cooking without issue, currently have an account at 86 or 87 mage and crafting, I've got multiple accounts to 70+ herblore, and mining I've gotten 85 without a ban 1 time (3 attempts). I've gotten 5+ accounts 75 WC as well, one of which is now over 90. I've also done 1-50 agility and 1-55 thieving without issue. -
[OSRS Mobile] How to Get Free 7-Day Memberships + Mobile on Windows

Not as far as I know. -
There are solutions out there if you're even mildly tech savvy, but they're not perfect and you'll need to get a bit creative. ?
-
I'll care about your opinion/advice when you have something to show for it. As of now, you seem to think you know a lot more about mobile botting than you probably do. I'll happily continue with my mobile botting adventures via my own methods since JamFlex can't seem to find most my bots anyways.
-
Not really when you consider the fact that they can profile based on min/max values and do so without much trouble. Larger ranges would only mean delaying the detection/profiling, but not stopping it.
-
That's a backward ass way to achieve something I'm already doing via official builds (both rooted and non). No need to run Linux on the phone itself unless it doesn't support the OSRS APK. While I'm aware this also allows you use of other JAR files, I doubt any phone can run any bots within the Linux instance anyways.

Unless you've got cash to throw at this (or in turn, time), you're gonna have a bad time. Things I would personally do before ever starting a Zulrah bot/farm: 1. Have a strong pool of 8-10+ proxies (2-4+ for only 1 bot) 2. Have a decent pool of accounts (5-8+ at start) for supplementing bans/rotating schedules (2-4+ for only 1 bot) 3. Private and robust script That's all because of the current ban rates (or the perceived ones, at least). I was planning a barrows farm but have since foregone it due to the upfront costs to keep it running without constantly training new accounts myself. High ban rates shouldn't scare you off since they're usually attached to highly profitable activities, but it also means having to spend more to keep running with minimal downtime.
-
Well, I think we can all guess where you came from. With that being said, nothing you script will ever truly be "random" because a computer is generating it. ? (But ya know, semantics)

Personally, I believe there is such a thing as an "undetectable" bot, but the number of factors and level of sophistication just doesn't exist within anything currently, nor will it anytime soon. I'm fairly confident our problems lie within injection itself. Remove injection from the equation, and my ban rates have dropped SUBSTANTIALLY.
-
Correct, I've got both running right now (physical devices and emulators).

As a current Mobile botter, I don't think it would be out of the realm of possibilities, but I highly doubt any current bot makers are planning to completely redesign their client for mobile. It would have to be highly optimized due to RAM limitations and different phones also have different degrees of accuracy when it comes to input (I've tested 6+ so far). With that being said, I have several working mobile bots including woodcutting, hunter, magic, mining, herblore, agility, fletching, and plan to keep expanding.

Bumpers for new info -
I don't have solid data to back this up, but I do believe Jagex can tell at least whether or not you're using a 3rd party client or official. I'm not sure if they can ID the specific client or not, but at the very least, they can tell the difference. While botting on official clients, I'm averaging 5-7+ days of suiciding before any bans come out, if they even do (haven't had any in almost 2 weeks now). I've started working more from the standpoint that in-game reports are causing my accounts to become flagged, reviewed, then banned. This includes both P2P and F2P testing. Doesn't seem to make a difference in my case.
-
Can't use it as a 100% positive test, but I ran 4 accounts at the same time using mirrored inputs (played 1 main client on my desktop, 3 VMware slaves controlled by the master). Interestingly, after 4 weeks the master account received a perma ban and the 3 slaves live on to this day.

I just suicided 99 fletching over this last week on a fresh account. Currently, my more impressive mobile bots are Magic Trees and Chinchompas (any type). ? -

Either or should work. I personally make all mine on my devices, but I have multiple physical devices + multiple Bluestacks instances. All accounts are always created on the proxy to reduce any chance of lockouts. -
Fresh account started 7 days ago just hit 99 fletching. Will get banned soon enough I'm sure.
-
Not sure if it's wanted/needed/do-able, but what about adding support for 1x1 tile locations? Would be useful for PVP and DMM, mostly.
-
Not sure I'm interested in selling mine, but what do these go for anyways?
-
Assuming they ban via HWID, they would be in breach of EU privacy laws (silly for a company this big, but not unheard of *cough* VW *cough*). Personally, I prefer to work from the assumption that your client/script is the reason for detection.
-
That's sort of how I do things right now, just not quite as hands off as you probably would be from the sounds of it... I offload/reload my bots cash stacks each night/morning and only need to remake the accounts every 6-7 days (if they even get banned). Overnight runs usually just mean loading less cash and accepting a lower profit per hour overnight.
