[OSRS Mobile] How to Get Free 7-Day Memberships + Mobile on Windows
poptartjake replied to poptartjake's topic in Guides
I've got easily 15-20+ right now that have been made using the same card. No issues yet. I also always cancel my membership and remove my payment details before the 7 days are up FYI (mostly for if I sell an account/email in the future) -

Only method I've got is to make the new Gmail account on my mobile device after having uninstalled/reinstalled my google apps. -
[FARM BAN] Not All Proxies Are Created the Same
poptartjake replied to poptartjake's topic in Botting & Bans
Not even quite 72 hours later and Jagex has found/banned my newest farm... Looks like I'm officially being watched, so the game's on! -
Go download a macro recorder (mouse/keyboard recorder) of your choice, create a new account, then try doing something simple like powercutting trees or power mining rune ess (minimal clicks & no competition). Make a macro of around 15 minutes to an hour depending on how you're feeling and let it run indefinitely on either the official client or Runelite. This should help determine if you're IP is being watched. If it is, the account won't last longer than 24-48 hours at most I'm guessing. If not, you probably won't get banned for 5-7+ days.

[FARM BAN] Not All Proxies Are Created the Same
poptartjake replied to poptartjake's topic in Botting & Bans
It was VIRMACH. I also recommend staying away from PROXYFISH, as I and others have had sketchy/sub-par dealings with them. Sure sure, I'm EXTREMELY familiar with res vs dc proxies, but that doesn't really matter at all to me as my farm has been using datacenter proxies from the start without issue. I don't normally run any bots on my home IP, mainly because I don't have any extra resources to do so with. It's more relevant that the only bot that didn't get banned today was the one not using a proxy from Virmach. -
[FARM BAN] Not All Proxies Are Created the Same

3 subnets total for 6 IP's, so I'm pretty confident in saying it was the provider as a whole. I've never had a chain ban happen until using this provider regardless of the types of bots I'm running (and I'm usually running at least 3+ of the same type of bot). The original provider I was using had a major outage and I couldn't bot for several hours with no estimate on the fix time, so I decided to switch then. I'll be heading back to my original provider now, though. -
Had one of my farmers banned overnight and while that's not uncommon/unexpected, it was a newer account within my farm (<7 days old). My average account lasts 14-21 days, but this one didn't even make it a week, which seemed odd to me. Nonetheless, I carried on about my morning by restarting all my other bots and planned to recreate the banned farmer shortly. However, Jamflex decided to derail those plans by banning my ENTIRE farm in front of my eyes... One by one I watched the disconnects and following disabled messages... Each bot had its own proxy and most of them were between 2-3 days old, which makes this the first mass chain-ban I've received since starting my farming adventures almost 2 months ago. Unfortunately, it appears my newest proxy provider is MOST likely the reason for the bans, though. I switched providers around 4-5 days ago and within 2 days I had 3 accounts banned (2 of which were 99's ). I had 1 account running on my home IP because I was too lazy to buy a new proxy, but funnily enough, that's the only account that lived. Time to restart!

Stop or else you will be perm banned, no questions about it. Quelch period is 1 year for most minor/moderate offenses. Most likely won't be rolled back at all.
-
This is doubtful as IP banning someone is literally the stupidest form of a ban because it doesn't actually remove the account from the game (or at least it didn't use to). In order to make an IP ban effective, Jagex has to BOTH ban the account and the IP, but banning someone's IP doesn't do shit to stop them from playing thanks to Proxies/MAC spoofing. There is almost no reason to ever issue an IP ban since it's basically non-effective to begin with.

[OSRS Mobile] How to Get Free 7-Day Memberships + Mobile on Windows

Did as of 2 days ago and should still work today (saw the trial offer on a mule still last night). Planning to make a new account right now actually since I lost 1 of my farmers overnight (NO idea why it got banned either lol) -
Assuming your plan is to PK, go 45 def, 52 Pray, 60 attack.

W2B Software to execute scripts at set times
poptartjake replied to The_Flan's topic in Botting & Bans
It's not public. ? -
Why no Combat Brace instead of leather gloves? lol

All of my bots are basically a suicide farm. I hand do Tut island, trade over some starter cash, then start botting the same thing for 4+ weeks before getting banned and restarting. For each one they ban, I'll replace with 3 new ones! #HailHydraHunters
-
Perm ban and my own script, but it's SUPER basic. Less than 100 lines of code, no anti ban or anything lol.
-
Just lost my first hunter account after almost 4 weeks of 20+ hour @ red chins per day. Ban came out just after the 20M XP mark, which I 100% expected. Restart time!

Botting without proxies puts every account on the IP at risk. From how I read your first post, you want to run multiple bot "workers" on your laptop and use them to supply your main, which you will be legitimately playing on. If that's the case, your main is at risk. NEVER use any account you care about to interact with your/other bots.

Great, now everyone's going to ruin my cash cow.. Thanks a lot.

Yes, Ranging Guild = auto clickable and can be like 30K+ XP/Hr, but no HP XP. As for strength, *TECHNICALLY* you could do shot put in the Warriors Guild, but IIRC, that XP/Hr is absolute shit (also no HP XP).

Good luck mate, I've gotten 99 fletching recently, along with a slew of other stats without bans. Currently got one going for 99 mage/crafting as well.
-
900K out from 99 Hunter, done in under 2 weeks, no anti anything. The forums help me keep up with things in the botting world, for the most part.

Not on OSBot or any injection client, for that matter. I don't trust injection right now as I strongly believe that's at least a large portion of why people get banned (combined with time played, patterns, etc). Without injection, I've had very little issues with ban rates in most anything I've done, including stupid suicide tests like the 72 hour F2P woodcutter I mentioned (who later became a Magic Trees bot and still isn't banned).

OSRS related e-shop - how to stay safe from PayPal frauds?
poptartjake replied to guywithlsd's topic in Spam/Off Topic
As someone who's ran a physical product business (have sold digital goods too) for the last 3 years (across multiple eCommerce platforms), I can promise you that Chargebacks do happen (even if rarely), and in most cases, you won't be able to stop/prevent/reverse it because Credit Card companies side with their customer long before they take the time to actually examine the case (personal experience). For this reason, you need to learn to budget for Damages/Losses and group Chargebacks into this category of your budget. And to be clear, a PayPal dispute and a Chargeback are NOT the same thing. Chargebacks happen via the Credit Card company (or bank) and more often than not, they just give their customer the money back without question, which means taking it back from you, the merchant. PayPal disputes are a little more like a court case in the respect that both parties get to present their side of the story for PayPal to ultimately decide on. Even for the best of us sellers, we cannot win every PayPal dispute even if we are in the right (most documentation isn't even looked at/acknowledged, for example). In the tens of thousands of transactions I've done, I can promise you that the percentage of Chargebacks, PayPal disputes, Lost Item claims, etc etc is very small in comparison to your successful transaction rate. You have to remember, the average person isn't a criminal/bad person and has little/no intentions of causing an issue. They just want the goods that you're advertising and probably have some of the same fears that you do (in terms of security/trust). -
