Hmm, I'm not sure what to think about the first one. I don't have a lot of experience with that kind of effects myself but I feel like the effect you were trying to create needs more work. I do like the second one though, good job!

It's the Invision logo... From IPB as in Invision Power Board. I already sent the icon to Maldesto a while ago as I'm in possesion of the vector file of the logo, another admin just has to upload it through the ftp as Maldesto doesn't have ftp access.

Nope, these are just userbars so they don't really need a mouseover function. I did make animated versions for both the legacy and the diamond (paid ranks) but they use two different themes and the edges of the transparent gif looked horrible so they couldn't use them.

Userbars I made for a gaming community owner. Obvisously the actual ones are smaller. Vector tiger I did just for fun/practise. Teamicons I made for a client.

This one was not really about the colors anyway, it was just to practise the basics on. Also I'm partly colorblind so matching colors has never been my strongest point

Thanks bro! That was before I posted the V2, did you see that one as well? I never studied for this. I just do this as a hobby and figure things out myself. I did make some animated sigs and banners before so I already had some pratice. Haha thanks. And once you get the hang of it it's not that difficult, it's still very time consuming though.

Same applies for a jpeg, but it's even worse.

Enlarging a .png without loss of quality is impossible no one will be able to do that. This would only be possible if you had a vector image of the monkey.

They are pretty popular on another forum as they draw a lot of attention. And this is just me trying to practise, never made something like this before. It still needs a lot of work as it's not even close to being finished. Also I can easily speed things up, delete some frames, edit the animations or leave some things out to make the actual content appear faster. As for making the animations smoother, I think I know what you mean. I can edit it so there are multiple animations going on at the same time which will speed things up and will make it appear smoother as well.

V1 V2 This is what I got so far. I'd like to keep it as minimalistic as possible and I'm probably still going to make some changes to the style of the title. It's all done in Adobe Photoshop as I have little to no knowledge of Adobe After Effects. Opinions/suggestions?

I don't like the thread layout, all the different textures and overlays make it look so cluttered and the shape could use some work. Gj on the rest though.

The 'E' is not as wide as the 'N' which makes it look very off-center and not very symmetrical. Obvisously the E is out of proportions in my example.
