A logo should be simple, clean and represent your product. It's a good thing to see that you're making multiple ones, that is the way to go until you're satisfied with your final result. I also reccomend you to make some sketches with your ideas first before starting to digitalize it. From what you've posted I can see that there's still some work but keep practising and you'll get there!

Looks good altough part of the transition from light to dark could be done better. I'm talking about the part of transition located above their heads. I'm also no fan of the glowing ball he has in his hand. Overall I think it's a nice piece though, good job!

That looks pretty neat for a first time even though I'm not really a fan of that style in particular.

Looks pretty good. The only thing I don't really like is: I think I'd look better if the color of the icons was a tad lighter, it'll make them stand out a little bit more.

I agree with @Reflex, sometimes logos can look much better if you keep them simple. In this case the first one would look much better in solid black, it will also make it look more professional and clean. On the second one your layer style looks good and overall your shapes look pretty neat.

You should make it a little bit smaller as the height in the header seems to crop it and makes it look warped. Also it's good but you can imrpove it a lot by working on some of the details, like the shadow from the hat on the text. I know you'd have put more work in it if you knew it was going to be used but take this as advice for the next time.

Okay, added a second, version to the OP. Added some scanlines and a dashed line. Not going to use too much effects and textures as I want to keep it clean looking.

I support the section idea but I think that giving every graphic designer mod powers in the graphics section is going to cause trouble. Not every designer shares the same opinion, so their judgement is going to be different. I'm assuming the number of graphic designers will be more than 10. So all of them going over the same section will most likely cause conflicts to occur regularly simply because of the fact that there will be too many of them eventually, whereas appointing one or two graphic moderators would also make sure everything gets taken care of without any problems.

^ Thanks guys! I saw an advertisement somewhere for a tattoo shop with that name and figured it would be a cool theme to use for a logo, just because I needed some practise. And no, there's no hidden image.

Don't know if you meant to do it like that but did but the bevel and emboss on your subtext isn't there in the last frame. You also might wanna gaussian blur the dash on that clipping mask. What you can do to make the transition smoother is make it fade out, so your last frame looks the same as your first frame.
