I got banned yesterday (Sunday) morning.

I got perm banned for RWT back in 2007, I think years and years later (maybe in 2014 or so) I heard that they're allowing another appeal on some permanently banned accounts from years ago, I tried it (in the appeal I just said I was only a kid back then etc..) and it worked. I just logged in again after seeing this thread and spoke to Hans and saw I made my account about 4300 days ago, Summer 2006. Just had a run around in F2P in RS3 and it's depressing how different this game is now, a lot of the worlds had less than 100 people in them, some had about 15!

UPDATE: I got a 2 day ban today, up until 2 days ago I was only ever botting the bank standing skills and I was pretty sensible with my botting (never for more than a few hours etc). I was probably playing legit more than I botted. Then I probably got a little overconfident and bored with the game and started botting agility and mining, I'm not sure which one got me banned but from what I've read it was probably agility. I only botted it for about 3 hours total as well (and not even in one session). In a way I'm kind of annoyed it wasn't perm so I could just stop playing this game, I don't seem to be able to play it in moderation. I tend to quit for 6 months or even longer and then for some reason always get dragged back in and then play it too much, burn out, quit and then the cycle starts again. I think I might call it a day and cancel my membership (hopefully for good this time).

Doesn't sound too hopeful of only getting a 2 day ban if I get caught then, one of my scripts just fucked up as well and moved me from botting at Wintertodt bank to the other side of the tent and I was just stood there for a good 5 minutes doing nothing in plain view of everyone. If I got reported I imagine I'm pretty much fucked, that would be a shame. Botting has actually got me back into playing legit as well, before I started botting about a week ago I hadn't even really played RS in about 6 months. I've played legit nearly as much as I've botted over the last week so that might be my only saving grace.. I'll report back if I get banned.

Hmm, maybe I'll stick to bank standing botting and see where that leaves me.

Is construction one of the safest skills to bot? Especially if you do it in a way where you never leave your house?

Hi all, I was wondering whether or not Jagex show any mercy to main accounts when caught botting? My main has been 100% legit up until now, has decent stats (1600ish total level) on OSRS and very good stats (half maxed) on RS3. The account is probably 12 years old and has no active offences. I've never been banned for botting before on any other account either so I doubt my IP is blacklisted either (if that's even a thing?) You may ask why even bother but to be honest I've barely played this game for years, I log in quite frequently but barely play. I wouldn't be devastated if I got banned and I'm interested to see how much I can progress my account with sensible (3-4h a day) botting. Thanks

Does it not string symbols?! Damn just spent £5 on this as well, I should've checked I suppose.. EDIT: NVM, I'm way behind the times, looks like stringing symbols is more expensive than it used to be, I'll do gold amulets instead. Bot seems to be working flawlessly atm.
