  1. There is an exploit in scripts that allows the developer to access the password of the account you are using. Do not fear, I have a way for you to check if the script is malicious. Firstly, this only applies to local scripts. We can't know for sure if the SDN scripts are using the exploit, because that is in the hands of the admins who put it on the SDN. 1) You need to download Jd-gui for windows/mac/linux: http://java.decompiler.free.fr/?q=jdgui This is a very easy program to use. It puts the java decompiler into a gui instead of command line. 2) Download your script of choice 3) Open JD-gui.exe and load the jar file you downloaded. It will decompile it for you. Sometimes it doesn't decompile it perfectly, so some code may become unusable, but it is a great way to check if the developer is phishing for your password. 4) This step is up to you: You need to browse through every java/class file in the jar using JD-gui. you can use the search function to look for "getPassword()" (this function was developed for the client to only use. It throws a security exception if you try to call it, BUT there are ways around that.) (credit to Cory for announcing the exploit) 5) if you find that phrase in the file, DO NOT START IT. 6) optional: check if the script sockets to a server to transfer the information. If it does, copy down the IP/website name and port number they are using to gather data. 7) Post on their thread to warn other users about the malicious intent of the script. 8) Contact an admin or global moderator to look into the issue. Please, make the post well known. It's for the safety of the community and security of the bot. There probably are other ways to grab passwords from the client using reflection etc, but for now this is what we have to worry about. Thank you for your time, Dreamliner

  3. In america, the road test is just to see if you can memorize a few steps. It's a terribly inaccurate test of road worthyness.

  10. not entirely true:P i highly doubt this http://pcpartpicker.com/part/pny-video-card-vcq6000pb is alot better than http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-video-card-03gp42784kr a gtx 780 You'd be surprised the level of efficiency the quaddro cards have over stock gtx for things like rendering etc. They're also rock solid, with a high speed memory lane right next to the GPU for memory intensive tasks. Ordinary people won't notice a difference, but throw it in a situation like using it to run a simulation of a 1000 part assembly in solidworks and you'll shit your pants The main difference.. it's not a video card. It's a computing card. So you can't really compare it to a normal video card. They cost that much for a reason.. Same with firepro's. Which my company actively uses in all of their workstations
  11. Also, the i5-3570K wipes the floor with AMD's 8350. For the same price point of 200$ How do you guys not see this? http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/697?vs=701 Plus the 3570k overclocks higher because of the lower stock clock. Critical thinking skills guys
  12. How are the benchmarks better if it uses the same chip? The MSI card has a higher core clock than that anyway. But not that that matters, because you can overclock your video card as you please. http://www.legionhardware.com/articles_pages/palit_geforce_gtx_760_jetstream,1.html Take a look for yourself. They benchmarked it against a stock clocked gtx 760. The MSI has a core clock of 1080mhz i believe. Which can be overcocked anyway. I don't see your point. I think you're trying to say they put a magical chip inside the palit one. They're both carbon copies with different labels I'm surprised you don't know this.

  15. MSI makes great motherboards. Also go for something better than the 7770. the 7870 is a really nice card, plus you can crossfire them when it gets too slow for games. Or you could pickup a gtx 660 or 760. Two very nice cards as well. When I built my first computer, I cheaped out of the video card and it was the worst decision I ever made. Now I have two 7970's Qty. 16. No, please explain it to me. I'm always up to learn something new.
  17. You realize that java has no delete function. You manually have to set all of your objects to null when you're done with them to be garbage collected.
  18. And what he could have understood wrong? Client reconnects every 5 seconds, but problem is (=bug) that how much processing client does for it... You do understand the Google Chrome connecting to the internet is different to a Java Client connecting trying to connect to a servers which are down? You realize I said 0.0.0.0 which doesn't exist. Obviously the java throws an error when it doesn't get any data back. I have made several java server/clients and they never hog the cpu when the server is down. Are you sure you're the one who doesn't know what you're talking about? Also, please tell me how we load a website without connecting to a server. Seems like you've got it all figured out, huh?

AMD bought ATI which designs their video cards. Before AMD bought ATI, there was no such thing as graphics from AMD. AMD has and always will make cpu's till it goes under. (look at their damn stock price)

E3-1230v2 is 200$ 4 cores 8 threads kicks the shit out of AMD's 8 core. Or i5-2500k. Outdated, but still holds up to par. I've built many computers lol. And correct, your processor is only as fast as your ram is. But we're talking about high end CPU's. Anyone with bulldozer/piledriver or and i5+ processors is going to have a discrete gpu. I have the i7-2600k in my desktop. It still surpasses AMD's top notch 8 core to this day. If you mean by "made a computer?" buying pc as parts, i've at least. Generally all price range intel beats amd. Expecially at 200$ (+20-40$) i5-3570k and newer i5-4670k wins amd 10-0 Amd wins only at encoding sometimes and gives advantage coz it's threads. Only thing i'm interested that if someone have tested running bots amd vs. intel I have the E3-1230v2 which is basically an i7-3770k for 200$ in my server. I've ran 6 bots on it (16gb of 2133mhz memory) and haven't seen anything above 15% cpu usage ------------------------------------ AMD is like Chevy - made for the masses Intel is like Audi - made for enthusiasts who want performance.

I can say the same thing about the 4770k.. Also, you do know that once the chip gets hot enough, it throttles itself down to 1 "core" each module depending on temp? How is that good design? I don't know about you, but I call it false advertising. There is still one pipeline of instructions going into each module. From there each module works through the instructions however they please. Each module has shared sections "overlapping cores" Too bad if you're running something that needs to utilize that shared section (cough gaming) - you're down to 4 cores. Amd's ploy of their 8 core is just a marketing scheme. this is a REAL amd 8 core. The opteron 6200. intel's flagship E7-8820 10/20 core processor. See the difference? MARKETING PLOY skibbity beep-bop zip zop zoopity blip blop yeah http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/334010-28-8120-true-core Stop dancing around the fact that AMD gave you a quad core with SMT. If you don't know what SMT is, look it up.
  24. It's not a bug it's the client which is trying to connect to the server every 5 seconds. I can refresh my chrome browser to 0.0.0.0 every 5 seconds and it won't destroy my CPU.

Amd cores arnt same as Intels HT, they are "Real" cores. Also it depends on what you want to do with your PC and what your budget is: APU`s > Intel haswel gpu wise price/performance. About reliability i`m not sure, since intel haswel chips come with a cheap thermal paste inside, resulting some CPU`s have difference on cores of about 20 °C, no idea why to use thermal paste in 1st place.[/size] AMD seems to be better long-term choice because of 8 cores, as new consoles come with AMD parts, devs will start to utilize them. From Intel i`d get their 6 core ivy bridge or none at all. However waiting for intel 8 core before switching from AMD I count 4. I count 4. I will say it once more. MORE CORES != MORE PERFORMANCE. It solely depends on the logic of the core. Intels architecture completes instructions FASTER than AMD. AMD cores take longer to process the same item as intel (hence the stock clock speed). Don't even bring iGPU into this. Who the hell buys an 8 core cpu and doesn't have a discrete graphics card. Hell, I'd even take a high end video card over a high end cpu. AMD doesn't make GPU's. ATI does. However AMD owns ATI now. Have you ever used Intel to compare it to? And what is that old fashioned way? You just can't change non-k model cpu ratio at bios, because it's locked? (i guess you meant bios=old fashioned and utility=newer ?) Old fashioned is overclocking the entire system using the base clock. (memory, pci, cpu, and anything else that uses the bclk for reference) and you still change the cpu ratio in the "K" versions in the bios..
