  8. All cores are not the same. AMD cores are weaker -> takes more time to get the same result intel cores are stronger -> takes less time to get the same result for the same architecture, more cores = better if they're running at the same frequency. The trouble is, you can't just double the cores and call it a day. you'd essentially raise the TDP of the chip by 2x+ which is why higher core chips run slower. Take a look at intels 8-12 core server chips. Intel to AMD is like Apples to oranges..
  9. You guys are making this way harder than it needs to be. There's a reason comments exist
  10. Direct ID method is easier on the CPU.
  11. default value is 7 incase it's an unknown food type. If it returned 0, your script could possibly eat everything in your inventory getDogFood(); get food for dog getFoodHeal(); get heal for food
  12. private int getFoodHeal(int food) { int val = 0; switch (food) { case 6701: // baked potato val = 4; break; case 2309: // bread val = 5; break; case 333: case 2289: // plain pizza case 2291: // half plain pizza val = 7; // trout break; case 351: // pike case 2293: // meat pizza case 2295: // half meat pizza case 2297: // anchovy pizza case 2299: // half anchovy pizza val = 8; break; case 329: // salmon val = 9; break; case 361: val = 10; // tuna break; case 1993: // wine case 2301: // pineapple pizza case 2303: // half pineapple pizza val = 11; break; case 379: val = 12; // lobster break; case 365: // bass val = 13; break; case 373: // swordfish case 6703: // Potato with butter case 7054: // chilli potato val = 14; break; case 6705: // potato with cheese case 7496: // monkfish val = 16; break; case 385: // shark case 7058: // Mushroom potato val = 20; break; case 7060: //tuna potato val = 22; break; default: val = 7; break; } return val; } thought this would be useful to others
  13. I have a bug where the script will not start unless the account is already logged in. The paint does not show up until manually logged in. Windows server 2008 r2 running 1.7.6 and 1.7.8 (only the ones i tried)
  14. And where did you hear this? Haswell blows away the ivy bridge line. It also got a few extra goodies in the form of instructions built into the chip. SNB -> 10% -> IVB -> 15% Haswell Look up the benchmarks. Haswell also can handle more lanes of PCI-E if you have many PCI-E devices. Do some research! Plus if he buys into Ivy he's stuck with a dead socket.

    1. AMD is a shit show 2. Intel's cheapest hexcore is 500$ Their cheapest 8 core is in the Xeon E5 family price @~$1500 It has been shown many times that the 3570k beats AMDs top desktop processor.
  16. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116904 + 64gb ram call it a day
  17. Why are you using ivy bridge when haswell is out? It's the same price for 15% more preformance. Get the 4770k http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130692 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116900 OR http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116901 the 'K' version has a completely unlocked multiplier, so even that that processor seems old, you'll be able to get another year or two out of it. I'm still on the 2600K and it hasn't had a hiccup of bottleneck. Here's a combo deal for cpu mobo and psu http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.1330011 58$ off. - spend an extra 100$ and get an unlocked multiplier + 15% better performance, and awesome motherboard with built in wifi and same deal on the psu http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.1326051 same as first mobo, but bundled http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.1325662 MSI MPower - I would buy this one personally. My friend has the motherboard - It's amazing

Hello, My name is dreamliner and I plan to start developing scripts for OSBot. I have been programming in various different languages over the past 7 years, so I hope to pick up the syntax and API of this process pretty quickly. About me- I'm a mechanical engineer and have a full time job. Programming is a hobby of mine which I like to do while I'm home. Any time when I have downtime at work I usually work on a few side projects that I like to fool around with. I hope this community is as helpful as it is accepting. On that note, is there a default template that the other devs like to work with? 6/14 12:11 - fixed typos
