Scholar OSBot's Elite Programmers Scholars are programmers that show a deep understanding of multiple languages and skillsets. These members are not required to have scripts here on OSBot, therefore their rank will never be removed. There is no application process for Scholar, they are handpicked from the Administration and also suggested by other current Scholars. Some traits of a scholar may include proficiency in low level languages (C, Assembly), proficiency in varying aspects such as graphics or artificial intelligence theory, experience in web programming (databases, RoR, etc.), and perhaps university attendance/graduation. Why would i want your 5mish when i make that in a day I wouldn't risk losing my reputation here for a game I don't even play. I think you need a virus scan if your not trying to frame me buddy.

Didn't read the whole thing, because you are just crying like usual, but if you leave for two weeks send the admins a pm and let them know. Maybe respond on your thread more than once a month, you are selling your product to users and have no desire to help anyone who buys your script. No one should buy scripts from users that don't help anyone. Maldesto thought it was okay to take action because this is the 2nd time you went over 8+ days without logging in the forums once or even checking on your thread within 2 weeks. Sorry you want to bank all this money, yet not help one damn person.

Just a warning, I'm gonna vent in this thread, so if you don't like reading my wall of hatred then please press the back button. Now that we got that out of the way let's beging, shall we. To my understanding, my job as a scripter is to maintain a functioning script. God forbid that a few bugs slip by or I'm inactive for 2 weeks while a game changing update happens that alters the game mechanics. I'm talking about updates such as toggle run, quick prayers, widgets changing, and maybe varpbits. I may not be the fastest updater, but I eventually do update my script to reflect the most current revision of runescape. The dilemma I'm currently in at the momment, is that Maldesto has revoked my script for the 2nd time from the SDN and has punished me for not adding bot detection worlds, despite my script working perfectly fine outside the script's elements, preventing new users from gaining access to the script. I don't see how it's fair that an ANTI BOT UPDATE that's supposed to be handled by the developers of the bot, has caused me to lose entitlement over my own script. I'm almost 100% sure that the reason my script has been removed and thread locked is because of the new anti bot worlds that have put into effect. I did my job as a scripter and made sure the script worked for my users. However, with the recent people complaining about bans because of ANTI BOT WORLDS, Maldesto thought it was ok to take action because people were charging back for something that's OUTSIDE THE SCRIPT'S BOUNDARIES. Randoms are controlled by the client right? They happen outside the script's boundaries, yet they are handled by the client. Randoms were designed to universally stop bots. Is that not what anti bot worlds are? They were designed to monitor and stop bots. I'm simply making plugins for software that it supposed to handle these external issues. These randoms and bot worlds aren't bound to one single script, so why is that we are required to handle one and not the other? If you wan't to revoke my OSD rank then fine, but I did my job as a scripter. Half of these OSDs if not more don't deserve their rank to begin with. I'm real close to leaving this cry baby community, full of ungrateful runts, who think they deserve the world and don't know what it's like to pay bils and provide for themselves. It's not easy and I'm sorry I can't be here everyday to make sure my script runs 100% perfect for you all. Thanks for reading my wall of text and hopefully I won't get shit for this.

SOTW should be displayed on the news and announcements for more publicity. it is a forum wide event and anyone can enter, so it only makes sense.

I think 'Nature' as a theme is a really good idea. I'd personally love to see some of nature's wrath in the SOTW GFX, e.g. Volcano's, Storms, the Ocean etc... Or something more serene, a representation of Spring perhaps? ;)

The issue has been fixed and I even threw in an update that user's wanted, which was to be able to toggle on or off picking up Marks of Grace. I'm inactive on OSBot forums, but I can be reached via OSBot's Raidcall #7970580 (which im in 24/7) or Skype. I do make sure the script works on a weekly basis. Like I said the bot detection worlds shouldn't be my issue, but I've decided to fix it because the admins are lazy and I'm tired of hearing shit from other people. However, I can't push the new update with world hopping and toggle mark support because my smartgit isn't allowing me to commit and push script updates. I need to wait for someone to send me my password before any update will occur.

But it isn't, and you can add it in the script, therefore it should be added to maintain your script until its added client side. Simple as that. stop trying to justify your week vacations from the site because you don't want to help your customers.

if people are asking for refunds for the bot words or bans like purple says, that has nothing to do with the functionality of the script, and they should be denied. If its for other reasons such as an ongoing bug(weeks without a fix), then its a different story

I see too many threads saying 'trusted', 'safe', 'reliable', 'x offsite fb', etc. All of these words deceive the customers, whether it's true or not. I've seen scammers have that in thread titles of that and it just shouldn't be allowed. You should be able to advertise stuff you can prove such as fb, ranks, etc. You can't prove whether someone's actually trusted or safe since you can't see the future and what their actions will be in the future. Also, offsite fb shouldn't be counted, especially since we can't even link to other sites.

Feedback This has been requested and will be made in an attempt to further explain the feedback system and the meaning of each category. The three types of feedback are Positive, Neutral, and lastly Negative. Positive: Positive feedback is meant for trades that have been completed without a problem. Also you are completely satisfied with what you have received and how the deal took place (The seller/buyer's behavior in the situation etc). Example - Neutral: Neutral feedback is meant for trades that were successful but you are left unsatisfied with how the trade was completed. For example, if you were treated harshly during the trade or the item was not as described, feel free to warn other members of the seller/buyer's attitude or service by leaving neutral feedback. This can also be applied if someone leads you on in a trade sets it up and keeps giving you the run around. Examples would be Telling you to go to this world, and you go there and they change worlds. Also changing locations, gp amount, agreeing to a deal and then trying to go back on it to get it for lower price. Example - Negative: Negative feedback is meant for trades to where you have not received the item you have paid for or someone has taken away money given to you for a service. This can also be left if the buyer and/or seller is extremely rude or demanding, these will be handled in a case by case scenario by the Staff Team. With the listed evidence it is nearly impossible to squeeze the truth out of the situation, many possibilities arise in circumstances like these. Divinity could be getting framed, he could've scammed, there is no way we can tell. Because of that very reason we're going to close this dispute with no action being taken. Thank you.

You shouldn't have a script up if you don't have the time to work on it in my opinion. Unless it's like, a free script. The people who bought it are paying for you to make sure it's working. That's like being angry that you got fired from your job for being late/not showing up consistently. Edit: However I do agree that bot worlds should be handled by the client.
