Paranoid? I'm purely speculating that a Jagex wouldn't want to highlight what was such a big flaw in their game 10 years ago.

This is exactly it. It's been 10 years. 3653 days. Even Jagex can admit a mistake from 10 years ago that is now one of the most known and remembered parts of it's history.

its the tourney world but they gave it world 666 as a tribute to that day:P
