socallmemaybe
I see some people here wondering if there is a higher chance of getting banned if ur f2p compared to p2p.. i would say the chances are bigger when ur f2p, but there is also a huge chance of getting banned for botting p2p.. but another thing to note is that when u get busted for botting the first time in f2p you get perm banned instantly. however, if you are p2p you always get a 2 day ban, but the second time ur busted ur also permed. Also, weekend botting is not "safe" anymore.. i lost 4 accounts just this weekend so be careful guys
oTroll
Botting is never safe, should always expect bans and prepare for it ;p Edited May 24, 2016 by oTroll
Mystical
I believe if you get banned over the weekend it's because the system caught you, not any specific person. I know they added more staff to the 07 bot busting so that could also be a reason.
Burial
however, if you are p2p you always get a 2 day ban nope been banned on p2p accounts which i've been using for 2+ months, hand doing quests and training, then i start botting and have been permed within 2 weeks
Aiban
Dont believe in the myth that the first p2p ban will be a 2day. Just depends on your luck

Fishing
Yeah as Ai said, first ban is not always a 2 day ban, pretty much depends on how lucky you are
apples99
In my experience, I get banned on f2p way more frequently.
Molde
Generally you receive a 2 day ban if you have hand trained the account/done quests along with botting. If jagex believe you may have botted just to help you level in the game quicker, you have more chance to receive a 2 day ban. Where as accounts which are botted 95%+ of the time receive an instant perm ban because it looks more like a gold farming account.

It all depends on total level, along with activity on the account, and also when the account was first made. It's always their decision as to whether or not you really deserve a 2 day ban.
