But people will think less of me if I say I only have a 980 ti when the 1080 comes out. 1

Or just keep the 980 ti and don't waste money on a 1080, as your graphic card is capable of running anything for plenty of upcoming years, I mean it's up to you, but I wouldn't waste moneys.
