July 29, 201312 yr Howdo! Something quite serious has come to my attention. Botting with a VPS may be the worst choice you guys can be making right now, i have done a few tests to see if what i thought was happening was right. I suicide botted 2 accounts doing fishing for 4 days...there were no bans or no problems what so ever. ( on my personal computer ) now i started botting another 2 account on VPS's within 24 hours the accounts were banned. I am pretty sure now using a vps will get you banned, were as the accounts i bot on my personal pc are fine with out any warnings, this is just a heads up and a warning for you guys. I would advise to test this method your self, I am quite adamant this is the case. SOMETHING ELSE I HAVE NOTICED! All bans From VPS's appear as Macroing Goldgfarming ban (minor) and it is always applied as a instant perm ban. Edited July 29, 201312 yr by MrMerchant
July 29, 201312 yr Which VPS did you use? Some are flagged as botting VPS and will get you banned quite fast indeed, but other ones are still okay
July 29, 201312 yr Author i think it is accountable for them all. Jagex are catching on. The VPS's this has happend on are... Fragvps Gigevps.net Virpus.com yourdomaingoeshere.com
July 29, 201312 yr Author I got the same, bought CarbonHost.com/org idk And got banned almost insta Yeah exactly buddy. It is happening to them all but when you think about it they have 100's of account coming from 3 - 5 static ip's with like 50 servers connected to them with 4+ accounts logged on per server IP...i think they are going to find it obvious! At the end of the day the company will only have around 3 - 5 + static ip's for around 30 - 40 servers and each individual server will have 1 ip, And when you have like over 100+ accounts say coming in on like 2 - 3 static ip's it is going to become a bit obvious i think the shit has hit the fan with this. Or they have just started to clock on to all the VPS addresses. I got the same, bought CarbonHost.com/org idk And got banned almost insta Yeah exactly buddy. July 29, 201312 yr My whole farm got banned today, but I wasn't using a VPS but a dedicated server (datashack.net). What MrMerchant said seems likely, jagex might check how many account are logging on from the same IP.
July 29, 201312 yr It just depends on the vps ip address you have been assigned, I botted on FRAGVPS, Received 4 insta bans, asked for a new ip address they give me it and didn't recieve a ban and still going strong, just depends on previous use of the ip..

Till the static clicks with the one you are currently running you will get banned more than likely hopefully no one does like.
July 29, 201312 yr Providers are assigned an ip block so, 81.171.18.1/32 so they have around 32 available IPs to use.
July 29, 201312 yr All of these people complaining that they've been banned and i'm laughing yet feeling bad. I don't know why. Don't ask. But anyways, TRY TO APPEAL AT LEAST! I did on one of my account and almost got insta unbanned.
