I downloaded the client, which is a .jar file, but It will not work no matter what I do. Help?

Ensure you have Java installed. You can obtain a copy at www.java.com

I am currently up to date on my java update. Next step?

It keeps trying to open it with internet explorer...

Not trying to spam, just trying to figure this out. It's saying it can't load the main class. it's a .jar but not an executable jar file and im windows 10 and don't know how to do this.

    I have the same problem. I have java version 8.92

     

    Fix: I downgraded to 8.91 and it worked.

    Right click the file, select open with and if it's there, select Java™ platform SE binary. If it's not there select open this with another app, scroll down, select search for different apps, navigate to C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_77\bin and select javaw.exe
