Random ip adress works on the client?

so as the title states, i wonder if random ip adress works on the client, i am atm using a vpn that will change my ip adress so jagex cant make a conection to my main acount, but i wonder now if that will work for the client aswell.

 

I know if i go to runescape.com the ip is diffrent (checked it up with my ip on google)

They can also lookup HWID and MAC-addresses to your main account. They're quite smart when it comes to tracking accounts.

But yes, using a VPN will help hide you from your main at least a little bit. :)
