Need help, (moderator) Account hijacking Question

Featured Replies

Hi there, just wondering if anyone could answer a question for me, Yesterday someone sold me an account, a pure to be more specific for $40 USD. Now , i changed the email/password. The person whom i bought it from tried recovering the account because i received emails from jagex that someone is trying to change the password, what should I do? Do I let him keep trying or dispute my payment or wait and see if he is able to hijack the account back and then dispute?

You can put you did not request to change the password somewhere in the email and don't make it now.

Put a dispute thread if you bought it through our market and have sufficient proof that it happened. Disputes
