Good Bye

Featured Replies

As I see things around here have been decisively slow, with a few minor updates going around, and still waiting over 3 weeks to even get a reply from an admin, which I do not find acceptable in my own terms. I also do not wish to hear the old "It's beta" excuse neither, I've stuck around long enough and I still see that things have not improved much. So, I have taken it upon myself to leave. I may come back when things have started improving. My services shall remain open, only contact me through Skype. But for now I can only hope the best for you, OSBot.

Good bye.

Stop whining. Staff also have other things to do besides OSBot. Jagex has been changing IDs and that's also something that has taken away staff members time. I think they're doing great job.

OT: Toodles.

You clearly haven't given a good excuse to why your leaving. Your stating they haven't made any improvements, but the bots in a working and good state? I also should add this, ITS FREE! and they developers have real like to work with as well, there life doesn't revolve around keeping you happy.

Looks like they should appoint more active staff then, Jagex changing ID's isn't really a good excuse, it's not hard to convert the old ID's to the current one's. You can think what you like, I have my own reasons.

I fail to see your logic, it's wasn't an 'excuse' as to what has lead me to leave this community, it was a reason. My reason was explained well in my post. There hasn't been many updates and administrators are not replying to me like I'm outcast yet they reply to staff instantly. Which shows me they don't care about their members, I've only been here since what? The month it came out? I also don't care that it's free, I'd be happy to even pay for it if only I could see that the administrators cared for their community, less or as equal to as their money income.

P.S it's not about the bot being in a good working state, it's about how the administrators care for the community.

The admins get tons of messages from newbies asking how to download local scripts or how to download the bot or messages regarding thanks for making OSBot. I'm sure they don't have the time to go through all their messages just to find a legit question, like the one you're talking about. They reply to the staff instantly because most of the time, the staff doesn't have something useless to say. If they were to individually take the time to talk to everybody in the community like you want them to, there would be little to no updates from the mass amounts of spam/questions being asked in their inbox.

There can't exactly be hundreds, and it's not mission impossible to stay on top of the messages either. 10 seconds between each message? This doesn't just go for OSBot inbox, it's for Skype too. When Maxi said he was going to add something for me on Saturday and didn't, and ignored me ever since.

It wouldn't take long, but it would probably become repetitive and annoying for them to read the same message over and over that could be easily resolved by just looking around the forums for a solution. As for the last part of the message, Idk.

I have left, I'm just tackling ignorant, and idiotic messages.

Maxi has been away for reasons more important than OSBot. If you can't understand that, I have nothing more to say to you.

Yet he didn't even do what he said he was going to, when he wasn't away. And left me without notice, superb.

What would you like him to do? Ignore you? You don't understand how tiring it is to explain the same story to 50 people while 25 of them are complaining for irrational reasons. The ones who had higher priority (staff/scripters) were explained that he was away, well, because it actually matters. We love helping the community, but we aren't customer support. I can't speak for Maxi, only myself, and it gets pretty frustrating when everyone expects me to give them full explanations for all of my actions.

Lol? "What would you like him to do? ignore you?" No, the opposite.

Typing a sentence or two must really wear you guys out sad.png Even if it's more than that, it's still your responsibility.

There we have it again 'higher priority" where not everyone is treated equally

Seems like it

I didn't define you as customer support, but every community should show a bit more initiative.

Not 'everyone' expects you to give them 'full' explanations for 'all' of your actions.

Really? Isn't this what you're supposed to be doing here
